This has been an very interesting exchange... based on:
-- What was said... -- What was not said... -- And recognition of group understanding, values and ethics. It has been my experience that very talented individuals build tools that work well for them and their world view.... When these tools are distributed to a larger group of individuals with varying world views, system models and operational contexts... These tools all had the propensity to fail in new, interesting and sometimes spectacular modes.... A saying developed over a period of time that was used to describe situations of this type: "A fool with a tool is still a fool." The CIM3 site appears to focus on a set of collaboration tools and processes that may reduce the "fool to tool" ratio. The concept of group collaboration is very different than "I have a tool." People are the most adaptive and intelligent part of most systems. Methods and processes to encourage participation in collaborative activities include a sense of ethics and fairness. If people are not treated fairly then soon there will be no one to collaborate with... Take care be good to yourself and have fun, Joe On Sun, Apr 22, 2012 at 9:50 AM, Brand Niemann <bniemann@xxxxxxx> wrote: Thank you.
