There's a "management" oriented article that just came out on
computerworld.com which talks about the benefits of semantic
technologies and provides use cases. These uses cases focus on
analyzing news, organizing documents, publishing RDF, translating DB's
to RDF, etc. While this type of process doesn't impress anyone on this
list, the examples may help with these slides. (01)
More importantly, it mentions private as well as open ontology
building tools that were quickly adopted by companies (read positive
ROI) and that they were able to crate new ontologies, or expand on
existing ones. (02)

As Leo pointed out previously, it's generally not a good idea to show
SME's or end users the actually ontology (unless they are
ontologists), and from my experience a Protege style interface is out
fo the question as well. Screens with text fields and drop down menus
that walk a person through the process is much more appealing. Some of
the tools in this article seem to do that. (04)
