This is a point that Wittgenstein clarified many years ago.    (02)

In any statement of identity, such as '2 + 2 = 4', the two
sides of the '=' symbol are two different descriptions that
denote the same individual.    (03)

It's incorrect to say "two things are in fact one."  There is
just one thing with two different descriptions.    (04)
