Well it's close enough to ad hom for me to render his messages in 
unreadable grey, and that's good enough for me.    (01)

I'm happy to be corrected on the precise nomenclature of types of 
debating, and who knows this might contribute a useful ontology for 
debate, but it's not something I'm going to get exercised about. I've 
got plenty of intelligent messages marked for me to come back to with 
intelligent replies, and anything that clears the underbrush if fine by 
me. Pragmatics trumps semantics in this case.    (02)
