Chris,    (01)

I'm late to the party on this thread, but nothing new.    (02)

I view the Ontolog forum as a valuable communication mechanism.
With any such mechanism, noise is to be expected.     (03)

For the particular type of noise being addressed by this thread
there are less draconian measures that can be employed for noise
reduction. The simplest I can think of is shunning the source of
the noise or just ignoring it.     (04)

It may be the case that not all participants are sufficiently versed
in detecting or avoiding noise. If that's the case a bit of education
may suffice.    (05)

Thoughts?    (06)
