Interesting point.

How would you know if a web site used an ontology to support the design of a web site?

If you used an ontology to support the design of a web site does the ontology have to be documented and published?

If the ontology that was used to support the web site design is documented and published, does it have to be accepted by any group?

In fact, it would be good if you published an ontology about how to use email to show that ontology development is a value added activity and using an ontology is the way to go.

So we would need an ontology for the email discussion about the ontology for the web site development about ontology development.

It is intuitively obvious that this may be ........  counter productive.....

Have fun,

Joe

Thanks for your reply.

May I suggest that the next Summit Website use Ontologies to show that using Ontologies is the way to go.

The following is a reference on using Ontologies for Website development --

Nice Website!!!

Thanks!

Was an ontology used to create this website?

We would have loved to have used an ontology, but the website was made under a very tight deadline and is very much a quickly thrown together hack.

If so, it would be instructional if there is presentation on how it was done.

Hello all,

Just an fyi - (a very hacked, quickly thrown together but hopefully pretty and accessible version of) the 2012 summit website is now online!

Also, a big thank you to ThomasGetgood for helping get it up and running.

Best,
Ali
