Sure. Sustainable community means  sustaining the self-organizing processes 
of social systems, as far as cities are self-organzing systems. Across the 
world, there are thousand smart city/community projects focusing on 
different aspects: from innovative ICT technologies, smart lifestyle. There 
are enabling smart technologies and intelligent solutions from global IT 
companies as IBM, Cisco, Siemens, Microsoft, HuaWei, etc.
The smart sustainable community model is about an integrated, holistic 
framework for infrastructure, transportation, utilities and energy systems, 
real estate, people, community, governance, economy, and environment, built 
and natural.
As for England, guiding by the key performance criteria of inclusive, 
liveable, and social cities, there is no any hint for smart community, smart 
governance, smart economy, or smart conected living, impying social, 
political and cultural cohesion.
