Hi Pat, Peter thanks for pointers to current discussions, and thanks for the clarification (sorry I have been out of the loop) In catching up I understand that the discussion is about 'ontology repository', which is great and makes sense, thanks - O(Or) right? But I dont understand why
why not? a repository is only a repository, and debating its opennes is interesting but an open ontology, as in 'collaboratively deleveloped, adaptive, transforming, accessible, usable, multifaceted ontologies are key challenges to ontology engineering , and open repositories are only an aspect looking at the repository as being the answer to the opennes of an ontology is trivialising the collective intelligence aspef of ontology engineering, which in my view comes before the repository aspect is discussed PDM
