No, it has not. Don't project back on the beginning of logic the 
contemporary view. Aristotle's syllogistic logic was meant to capture 
things in common sense reasoning. His discovery that one has to 
distinguish in ordinary reasoning between 'deductive validity' and 
'truth' was not subject-matter-neutral discovery.    (02)
