Bill, I would like a copy too.
However, since you are planning to put in the effort, maybe you can
even go the extra step of locating the IPR owner, and make a convincing
case that we will make it available to a wider (and relevant)
readership. We'd be most happy to host it on the Ontolog cwe
(Collaborative Work Environment) for free. When corresponding, please
alert them of our IPR Policy
(http://ontolog.cim3.net/cgi-bin/wiki.pl?WikiHomePage#nid32 ) ... a
more 'modern' license that could be applicable too, would be the
Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial-Share Alike 3.0 License [
(cc) BY-NC-SA ref: http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/3.0/ ]
... in fact, maybe Jim Horning has a copy of the paper you can scan
(saving your trip to the library, so you can use the time to 'open up'
that IPR for all of us. :-)

Me too.
I am tempted to volunteer myself for the mission of getting a hold of this article.
I have not been diligently reading my ontolog-forum email lately and so apologies if there has been follow up on this thread.
I suspect it will mean one of us going to the library getting it from microfilm and scanning it or OCR-ing it. It would perhaps violate
fair use provision of copyright to broadcast this to the whole list but sending it to targeted folks would be okay.
Email me off list if you would like to see a copy. I make no promises whatsoever that I will actually go to the trouble of getting
the article, OCR-ing it, and fulfill your request to email you a copy. I also may take months or even years to act on it.
Let me know if you have any guidelines on copyright. Maybe "the CONTU rules" or "fair use provisions" give me blank and white
guidelines on how many copies I may email out to specific people?
Thanks,
Bill
