I am Kevin T. Smith, and I am the Chief Security Architect
of the DIA's Virtual Knowledge Base Project.. I don't have
a resume online, but have authored a few books on XML and
Java, have spoken at technical conferences (JavaOne),
and am currently co-authoring a book on the Semantic Web with
Mike Daconta and Leo Obrst. (02)

We are creating an ontology for our project that unambigously
describes resources in the Virtual Knowledge Base.
Most of my work is security-focused, controlling how information
in the knowledge base can be accessed, and describing the security
requirements of data sources in the registry. (04)
