I agree wrt preferability of IoT over IoE ... but note that the Web of 
Everything is not the same as the Internet of Everything (in my usage at least) 
and the Web of Everything Everywhere is broader than the Web of Things as 
currently outlined by the W3C community (but thanks to Dan for the pointers).    (02)

As I understand from communicating with subject experts, term IoT (internet of 
things) is preferable to overall subject and IoE (internet of everything) is 
less preferable because it is CISCO centered and marketed.    (05)

See in Google search about this terms, the difference became clear there.
But intended scope is the same.    (06)
