There is no evidence that Ockham ever wrote the statement called
Ockham's razor: "Entities should not be multiplied without necessity." (02)
In any case, he wanted to avoid assuming that every word in language
requires the existence of something in reality that it denotes.
The theories I summarized are about the nature of the universe,
not about the words that occur in ordinary language. (03)
