The number in the language called Smalltalk-80 refers to 1980, and that
was the point at which the language had become fairly mature within
PARC. Simula 67, the granddaddy of object-oriented programming
languages and a strong (conceptual) contributor to C++ also used the
term. "class." Guess when it was formalized? (03)
