Azamat,    (01)

That is the point I was denying:    (02)

Requiring total agreement leads to very fragile,
brittle systems that break down as soon as the
slightest contradiction arises. That is what we
have today, and such systems make communication
and cooperation very difficult.    (04)

The reason why people are more intelligent than most
computers is that they do not require or expect a
universal ontology.    (05)

When two people get together, they discuss, negotiate,
and compromise on as much commonality as they need
to do whatever job they have.    (06)

That is all that is necessary for interoperability:
agreement on just the minimum needed to get the job
done. It's not necessary to realign your global
ontology when you buy a loaf of bread or take a
ride on the subway.    (07)

That is why the emphasis must be on *learning* and
negotiating any ontology is needed for a job rather
than requiring everything to be defined in advance.    (08)
