To assume that everyone will think about things in the same way is neither
desirable nor probable. In Los Altos, CA grocery stores may organize food by
"events" - breakfast, lunch, dinner, etc. In Washington DC grocery stores
organize food by 'food groups' - vegetables, bakery, beverages, dairy. There is
no single way to define classes of food that works for everyone and there need
not be. There are many equally valid options depending on the actors and the
context.    (02)

On a practical level, not everything fits into classes. Hierarchies and class
schemes are one of the most restrictive data structures, and while there is an
inherent logic - it does not cover much of what an ontology really needs to
address (in my humble opinion).    (03)

Logical inheritance based on classes assignment is also a basic assumption that
I think should be critically and openly debated in the ontology community.
Perhaps it has been, and I've missed the discussion.    (04)

Best regards,
