Don't apologize.  You should get angry about being forced to use
a notation that invites such mistakes.    (02)

A notation that is capable of being used precisely is not very
useful if well informed people make frequent mistakes.    (04)

That was one of Tim Bray's arguments against RDF/XML.  Even when
he had all the triples clearly laid out, he couldn't translate
them to syntactically correct RDF/XML -- and he was the one who
*designed* RDF/XML.    (05)
