Hi Ali,

I personally don't have a problem with this definition.  It's really just a more detailed elaboration of what I provided and does not conflict with the definition of Grammar in English dictionaries.

I would suggest:

A Grammar is the set of rules that define a set of well-formed structures built from the symbols of a given Language.

or

A Grammar is an algebra that defines how to build a set of well-formed structures frmo the symbols of a given Language
