Yes, indeed. I suspect that like much else that was happening in those early AI
days, nobody thought it worth recording in print because everyone already knew
almost all the others personally. I know ideas used to spread rapidly months,
or in some cases years, before they got officially 'published'. Every attempt I
have read to reconstruct the early history of some AI idea has been woefully
incomplete or partial. (03)
