Hi,
The following projects model the collaboration aspects of an
Enterprise Architecture semantically:
·
The Ecospace Integrated
Project developed CWE systems and tools capable of supporting the
innovative work paradigms and processes of eProfessionals. In the context of
this project the Collaborative
Environment Reference Architecture (CERA) was developed with the aim of
supporting collaborative work environment (CWE) interoperability. CERA includes
a Semantic Infrastructure Layer that provide formal descriptions, reference
models and metadata for the CWE domain.
·
Following on from this and other related work, the OASIS Integrated
Collaboration Object Model (ICOM) TC was established. ICOM is a standard
for integrated and interoperable enterprise collaboration. Concepts that are
relevant for enterprise collaboration are modelled and represented in both
UML/OO language and semantically in RDF language. The ICOM model encompasses
and improves on a range of existing Web and Enterprise standards and
technologies, e.g.ECOSPACE models, SIOC,
FOAF, Nepomuk ontologies, Oracle
Beehive Model, etc.

Deirdre

Another way to look at this is
that an enterprise architecture is the architecture of an enterprise.
Such an architecture has many views. One viewpoint is the semantics
of the various specialized languages used by the participants in the business,
or other enterprise. Hence, a semantic enterprise architecture would
address this tangle of semantics found in any interesting enterprise.
Here's a starter page for sorting out these concepts: http://enterprisology.com/node/168.

If Semantic Web is a serious business, Semantic EA has to be serious
business too..
Here is my presentation at Association of Enterprise Architecture - DC
chapter. HHS Chief Architect was there too...
