I have done a lot of work for mapping UUID's to data element concepts in
registry-repository facilities including a semantic-context map. The system
we built for the Government of Canada's international justice initiative
could even build dynamic schemas that were specific to the context of use. (03)
We cannot forget the mechanics for us who still write code. Building a
paper that explains some good practices for retaining the links via fixed
attributes in an XML schema is one good way to promote linking of taxonomies
to an ontology. (04)
