Hi Jayne,    (01)

Good resources about ontologies can be found on our wiki at:
http://ontolog.cim3.net/cgi-bin/wiki.pl?RecommendedReadingResource    (02)

... as well as from the archives of all the wonderful sessions
we've been having, under:
http://ontolog.cim3.net/cgi-bin/wiki.pl?WikiHomePage#nidZ    (03)

As we have not been doing much about taxonomies here at Ontolog
... I would recommend, as good resources on taxonomies, for one
to check out Denise Bedford's presentation she made at one of
Susan Turnbull and Brand Niemann's Collaboration Expedition
Workshop (#31/NSF/2004.04.28) -- see:
http://colab.cim3.net/cgi-bin/wiki.pl?ExpeditionWorkshop/MultipleTaxonomiesWorkshop_2004_04_28#nid5S    (04)

The theme of that event was on multiple taxonomies, ontologies
and the semantic web. Therefore, most of the other presentations
on that day are probably of interest ... and they were all excellent.    (05)

Cheers.  =ppy    (06)

[ppy] Yes, Jayne is right ... there was some distribution problem
over the last few days. However, all messages got into the html
archives properly. Please check that -
http://ontolog.cim3.net/forum/ontolog-forum/2005-07/index.html -
to make sure you didn't miss anything. Our (cim3) apologies. =ppy
