Right. So CL support is architecturally significant within the Persistence Tier and the Business Logic Tier of the OOR (see http://ontolog.cim3.net/forum/oor-forum/2010-07/pdfcKJ94EuWbo.pdf for an example of how these tiers relate). How would/could we handle this requirement within the constraints of the BioPortal architecture (i.e. based on a triple store)? I recall mention of the ability to plug different backends into the OOR, but I don't see anything in the BioPortal docs to suggest this. Is this a capability that the OOR team is proposing to somehow build as an extension to BioPortal?
