Please, Yuriy, don't re-define "Ontology" here. That word means a lot to most of us here. ... pick on something else!

Also, I don't think this conversation is relevant to this Ontology Summit, at least not the way the folks who had devoted time to put it together, had wanted to frame the discourse.

Can you try to find a more appropriate venue for this conversation of yours, please.

You might consider asking people who are interested to pursue this with you to contact you directly, so your group can take this conversation offline.

Please email me directly, if you want to examine why this is, or is not, relevant to OntologySummit2013.

Thanks & regards. =ppy

Thanks Peter,

My quick re-definition an "Ontology" term from there:

http://ontolog.cim3.net/cgi-bin/wiki.pl?OntologySummit2013_Intrinsic_Aspects_Of_Ontology_Evaluation_Synthesis#nid3K8P

is the next:

(Semantic Web begin)

Ontology solves something that is a problem.
An ontology has a n:worth.
A n:worth is measured by the  n:effectiveness.
Effectiveness helps something that is a n:solving.

(Semantic Web end)

Please fell free to grab an ontology of this definition of "Ontology" here
http://www.ddtor.com/1.htm

Just change the "mortal Socrates" ontology by the body above :)
