Thanks a lot for the updates
If you remember, a while back a posted a request for a glossary, how shall we go about it et etc - to which Denise replied enthusiastically. I posted the request because of various projects that I am working on, a glossary is a related step
You then suggested that efforts were already underway, and it might be a good idea resuming work on the Onto Taxo Project - which I am happy to wait for
but i would like to know what's happening.
Denise started her excellent work and kept us well briefed about progress for the first few days. As you confirm, work has continued we just havent heard about it anymore. Thanks for informing me that it could be a combination of reasons,
I am simply following up on that, and take the opportunity to make enquiries whether something for whatever reason is not shared on the list,Cause if that is, I think it is legitimate to ask 'what?' and 'why?' So that I know where I stand and plan for my work accordingly
I think it's great to have 'project ownership' , as long as people who are interested can be part of the project processes, otherwise, there might be scope for starting separate projects...
Also, as you well know. I cannot participate in the physical meetings in the Usa because of great distance, and scheduled metings because the time difference. this is why to me - and I believe I instigated this phase in this Onto Taxo project - is particularly important to have all thoughts on the list. Otherwise I feel that I am being deliberately kept in the dark for some reason.
I really appreciate the opportunity of helping with this, just we'llhave to find a way
of communicating (vacations and conferences notwithstanding!)

Again, Ontolog is like going to the tavern after a day's work to have
a good conversation ... therefore, it would be odd to even consider
"putting pressure" on someone to come to the tavern, or to have them
make conversation.
The TaxoThesaurus work has mainly been Bob and Denise' work, with a
few of us (other members) making comments when interim work products
come out. Therefore, it has not been like, say, OntologySummit2007,
where a online discourse is part of the program/deliverables.
