Sorry the second example should have been 
http://ontologies.retailersRus.com/lingo#No  where they would explain that this 
uri means number (which might be an id or might be a count)     (01)

Those two "NO"s would be in different namespaces.  The chemists would have 
something like http://ontologies.chemists.org/elements#No  and somebody else 
would have the http://ontologies.somebodyelse.com/arguments#No  they are 
different uris that refer to different things and only coincidently have the 
same fragment  (the "No" bit)    (03)

I am by no means an OWL/RDF/URI literati.  I would like to USE this stuff... 
not understand it.  If I had to understand all the technology in my life, I'd 
be naked & living in a cave.    (09)

If you establish a URI pointing to "NO" which means "number"... then when I 
come along & want "NO" to mean "nobelium", I'm out of luck?    (011)
