A good sign, because "Ontology" was surely meant in a philosophical
sense, well, pop-philosophical, trying to convey some aura of 'being' or
'very essence'. So the word was correctly used, even if figuratively
and colloquially. (04)
But a bad sign too, as it may be trying to ride on the frequent
conflation of the two senses of the same word, our IT sense being the
currently fashionable one. (05)
Such conflation is symptomatic of the "Ontology Fallacy" (and its
antidotes) you'll soon be able to read a bit more about on the OntChem
