David Leal: "I have come across this - <http://purl.org/ontology/po/> . It
is an ontology for programmes (TV, radio) defined by the BBC."
This matter has been discussed on the forum,

That's a bit funny when the Event Ontology is to be developed in the center
of digital music, http://motools.sourceforge.net/event/event.html. But what
is not funny, when events are defined as "primarily linguistic or cognitive
in nature", when the world is viewed as a place without events, when events
are merely conceptual means to classify the patterns of change.
As for the BBC programme ontology, both the broadcast's general classes as
show and social event, and its specific types as TV program, news program,
talk show, game show, serial, or episode, are real life events, involving
real life persons, time and space, like as theatrical events, sporting
events, and many other human actions.
