Dear All, (03)
I have come across this - <http://purl.org/ontology/po/> . It is an
ontology for programmes (TV, radio) defined by the BBC. (04)
Some points: (05)
1) It seems to me to be a good HTML presentation of an ontology. Much of the
HTML presentation has probably been generated automatically from the
ontology source file <http://purl.org/ontology/po/2009-09-07.n3>. (06)
2) There is use of other ontologies for people, time, spatial location,
vocabulary status, etc.. It seems much easier to bring ontologies together
to solve a problem than to bring schemas together. (07)
3) The vocabulary for ontology status, is alright as far as it goes but
seems to be a stalled project in W3C. We certainly need one. Does anybody
have more information? (08)
Best regards,
David (09)
