Frank

I am only v quickly glancing through this thread,
I think the space/time thing is true but up to a point

We live in spacetime, and every exiting thing (object of an ontology) is finally defined by its position in space and time.

Not sure. Physical things, yes,
metaphysical things and abstract things, including a lot of concepts,  may exist outside space and time

Those parameters are unique. As himans produce copies of reality in various media, they cretae new objects that obbey the same rule.

yes, but we use 'abstraction' whereby things are devoided of space/time constrains
this is essential in lots of modelling activities,

depending what , and for what purpose, the ontology is designed to support
time/space may have to be represented accordingly
