There will always be new meanings, extensions, and variations
attached to every word in the language. The linguist Alan Cruse
coined the term 'microsense' for the tiny variations that are
inevitable in every new context and application.    (02)

That will never happen. But when one has a truly new idea,
there are established practices for clearly distinguishing what
is new from what is old:    (04)

  1. Summarize or at least mention the old approach.    (05)

  2. State how the new approach differs.    (06)

  3. Add an appropriate qualifier to distinguish the terms used
for the new ideas from the terms used for the old ideas.
For example, replace 'random' by 'RF random' or whatever
     new terminology you prefer.    (07)
