1. I'd support the idea of [ontolog-engineering] as a split off from the
more general [ontolog-forum] "public" list (cf W3C, as Pat highlighted)
but maybe also [ontolog-concepts] or similar - to make a distinction in
some of the debates we've seen between "what do we mean by...?" and "how
do we get it done...?" (02)

One idea that might work (and give us the best of all worlds) is
to spin off the high volume traffic to another list ... while
leaving [ontolog-forum] as the community's "general discussion"
list, and the subscription to it as a marker for whether a person
is a member of this community. (010)

1. what would be a good name for this new list. (012)
2. who would want to be immediately subscribed to this new list. (013)
