hello friends,

 

can any one tell some standardized definitions of "ontology engineering".why this field is lack of standards ?,and please tell me the topics which comes under the name ontology engineering.

 

regarding methodologies to develop ontology

1.each individual group is developing their ontologies with their methodologies,why there is no single standardized methodology

 

2.is there any methodology that will develop ontology from scratch and simultaneously thinks of reuse of existing ontology.
