I'm afraid our procedure does NOT prevents Nicola's worst fears
In a situation like the one described, what could we do?
reject a newly applying anti-ontologist (or, for a closer analogy, an ontology
service businessman [*]) because... we have too many?
this decision would be discriminatory to the single, wouldn't it?
not to mention that being part of a social/cultural/business group (not
explicitly against ontology) gives us no grounds to reject according to the
Statute (and the law I would guess) (01)
As of now, the procedure is good to deal with people publicly known for their
opposition to ontology or that were previously expelled from the association. (02)
Do we want to state a max number of positions in the EC accessible by
non-researchers?
I'm in favor of a revision of this procedure by the new coming EC
;) (03)
Cheers
-Stefano (04)
[*] I kind of wish there were that many
:-) (05)
