This comes from way deep on the sidelines, so calibrate accordingly ... but I'd
suggest that the IoT might be aiming too "low" relative to where I think the
impact of this community's work can be greatest ... let me illustrate what I
mean thusly: "The Internet is to the Web as the IoT is to <x>"? (01)

Yes, I know the "WEE" acronym is almost a non-starter in and of itself (and the
label is not important at this time) but, seriously, it's the information flows
over the IoT that will deliver the most value from ontologies and semantic
technologies in general (?). (03)
Two small notes about the "WEE" concept:
- The information dimension encompasses and animates things that cannot be
instrumented for the IoT, as well as those that can be so instrumented.
- The "Everywhere" component, in its idealized form, encompasses both space
(any location) and time (always on). (04)

The next session will be the (Pre-Launch) Community Input and Planning Session
on December 11. The objective of the December 11 meeting will be the official
adoption of the Tracks, in preparation for the Kickoff session in January. (09)
Mark Underwood will be distributing a message that outlines the current
proposal for the Summit theme. Over the next month, people are encouraged to
initiate discussions about refining the scope of the Summit theme, and
