unnecessary seems unnecessary - no one is in favour of unnecessary complexity
Not exactly sure how conflicts and overlays relates to fewer primitives
It looks like 2 ideas smashed together and perhaps the fewer primitives is the
"reduced complexity" rather than a result of it. (02)

Again 2 ideas wedged into a bullet. If you are talking about keeping
"disparate systems" than you can't say "fewer silos" without some
explanation. (03)
