Other communities do this with a coordinated effort resulting in a wiki. See The Systems Engineering Body of Knowledge for an example.

Gary, I've been trying to get that going for the last few Ontology Summits, but so far others aren't joining in. It really needs to be collectively built and curated (for quality and effeciency, IMHO. I am not a librarian, but I came to applied ontology through social epistemology, and I very much believe in this). I thought the Zotero tool would work reasonably well for that, but it hasn't taken.  I haven't tried setting one up for Ontolog, or for the applied ontology community more broadly, but if there were general interest I could set that up and import the libraries (such as they are) from the Summits).

Thanks Amanda, you are the # 1 librarian for Ontolog and I'm sure would play a central role in any online tutorial effort.

I'm amazed at how much patience some people have to educate those who stride into semantic territory with so little training or effort to review the relevant literature.

But it does seem to me that a long-term approach to these episodic efforts that educate such travelers would be better spent by reference to more systematic, tutorial material that covers the issues.  Indeed these bouts of education could be used to update such material if it were online.

Perhaps this would be a good thing for the Ontolog community to consider.

You said that the English *is the meaning* of the mKR. This means that the English sentences and the mKR have *exactly the same meaning*. And I know how to read English, so yes, I want all English.

It's only easier to read if one knows how to read it. You have never explained to me how I should read it.

I didn't mention context, and neither did you when you said that the mKR and the English translations had the same meaning. So ignore questions of context, and just give me the English translations which  have the exact same meaning as the mKR.
