Ray,    (01)

Kingsley was asking me whether I'm willing to accept RDF, and
I said yes. I accept RDF in the same way that Google, Apple,
Microsoft, IBM, and other web companies accept it.    (02)

None of those companies use RDF as their preferred way of dealing
with Big Data from the WWW. But if there is anything useful in RDF,
they map it to their preferred notations so that they can process
it more efficiently.    (03)

As I said, I use HTML for *word processing* in which the data consists
of paragraphs of text and the tags are things like <p> and <li>.
I use a plain ASCII editor, and I type the tags directly.    (05)

For ontology, my preferred knowledge representation is Common Logic,
usually in the dialect CGIF (Conceptual Graph Interchange Format).
In CGIF, the triple A B C is represented (B A C). The number 2
is represented as 2. See http://www.jfsowa.com/cg/cg_hbook.pdf    (06)

I don't normally query my HTML files. But we (VivoMind Research LLC)
have a very efficient system for processing large collections of graphs.
See slides 122 to 124 of http://www.jfsowa.com/talks/goal.pdf    (08)

They've specified a simpler RDF-based representation for the most
widely used subset of OWL. I think it's a good idea to define
a simpler logic than OWL, but I would dump RDF as well.    (010)
