Ah, but very little of what is written down, and even less of what is
available online, is clear about how the writer got to the answer.
Perhaps David's Corollary was really a way of saying that the converse
of the "Core Truth" does not hold:
If it is written down, it happened. (05)
Urban legends are the best-known counterexamples, along with a common
misguided description of the origin of "rule of thumb". (06)
