That is true.  A terminology, by itself, won't do any computation.
But neither will a formal ontology.    (02)

An ontology expressed in some version of logic can be combined
with an inference engine to do some kinds of computation.    (03)

But if you aren't using logic, you don't have anything that
can be combined with an inference engine.  However, you might
be able to use it as a basis for designing some kind of software.
That software, running on a computer, does the computation.    (04)
