I am still working on the report that summarizes topics discussed in
this thread and combines them with other related material.  But it has
taken longer than I had hoped.  Following the beginning and an outline:    (01)

Tomorrow, I'll lead a discussion of these topics at 3:45 pm at NIST,
immediately following the Ontology Summit at NIST.  At the end of
