Karlsruhe is less than an hour from Stuttgart (depending on traffic, of
course) up the A8. It's about 1.5 to 2 hours from Saarbrücken by both
car and train. There is no Autobahn directly between them, but the
roads are good and the route is quite scenic. (04)
(And I'd suggest "etwa" or "ungefähr" instead of "manchmal" above. ;-) (05)
