There are commonly used languages such as Common Logic, OWL, or KIF which
are used for capturing ontologies. Most browsers will be built to browse
ontologies written in one or more of such languages. So the question
becomes "What languages were the ontologies that you want to browse
written in?" That will determine which ontology editor to use. Of those
tools already mentioned, Protege probably has support for the most
different languages. SWOOP is intended only for Semantic Web languages
(OWL and RDF). (02)
