Everything in science has a pre-history. I would say that it is only after
the acceptance of statistical thermodynamics that the "absolute zero"
became generally regarded as the temperature that theoretically is the
lowest possible temperature. And then I would like to repeat my
metrological point: the determinates/values of a physical dimension that
has no absolute zero point cannot possibly be mapped on a ratio scale, but
perhaps on an interval scale.    (03)
