I agree with that, Matthew! That's one possible use of the SCOPE model - a
(extensible) catalog of possible scope dimensions and scale value ranges to
choose from for a given situation. That doesn't change the social dynamic
challenges of coming to agreement on what they should be, but it does help
to broaden perspectives among the participants and expose implicit
assumptions they might have made and dimensions they might have overlooked. (01)
