Everyone:

I am pretty amazed by this thread so far.  It seems that everyone agrees it is important work, it is not difficult from a technical perspective and highly probable that many industries will find such work useful.  There are a lot of great ideas put forward too.

Maybe this is a perspective not shared by all but I would also aver that this may present a great opportunity for this group to do some tactical ontology work.

Would it be possible to aggregate copies of all the existing ontologies or taxonomies dealing with units of measure into a subfolder of the oor sandbox repository?
