Mark and Leo
I just returned from overseas travel and
have started to first populate some of the requirements threads that might
influence the repository architecture on the repository architecture page. http://ontolog.cim3.net/cgi-bin/wiki.pl?OntologySummit2008_RepositoryArchitecture
It will be not possible to capture
everything. HHHHence samples only will be extracted
from threads. Thereafter, I will send abstracted repository architecture
related text to Michelle and she will modify and finalize and forward it. Hopefully
she will be able to access her email as she travels for the Summit. My estimate is Friday or Saturday for
the first draft and I realize that integration of text by you thereafter is not
a trivial effort.
Thanks.

[COMMUNIQUE] Thread Summaries STILL Needed!
I am writing to let you know that the schedule for developing the
communiqué that Leo laid out in his message on Sunday is, as should be apparent
by now, impossible for us. We need text to integrate into a coherent
document, and, with notable exceptions, that text has not been forthcoming.
At this rate, we are aiming simply to distribute the draft communiqué in
advance of the meeting.
We are still waiting for some of the thread summaries. Leo and I
will begin our work once we have the necessary prose.
Thanks for your forbearance.

Because there is no

*
State of the Art (Frank Olken)
*
Quality and Gatekeeping (Barry Smith and Fabian Neuhaus)

We witness and agree to the contents of this
Communique:
<Name,
Affiliation>
Once we submit the
draft Communique, we’ll then request comment/changes up to Thurs/Fri (Apr.
24/25) of this week to incorporate into a 2nd draft. This latter will be our
beginning input into the Ontology Summit.
Note that we can
incorporate changes deriving from the discussion of Day 1 of the Summit (Apr.
28) and then the dedicated Communique session in the morning of Day 2 (Apr.
29). By the end of this latter session we need to have a final Communique that
all can agree to.
