All,

Tom De Smedt has released a short paper on creativity from his book on Modeling Creativity, "Modeling Creativity: CASE STUDIES IN PYTHON". His approach uses "a combination of graph theoretic methods: spreading activation, taxonomies, subgraph partitioning, betweenness centrality and shortest path finding".

The paper from CLiPS, Computational Linguistics & Psycholinguistics Research Center, can be found at:
http://www.clips.ua.ac.be/pages/modeling-creativity-with-a-semantic-network-of-common-sense

The book, (168 pages) includes code for modeling in Python and is available online at:

I have no connection or business interest with this material.
