Message senders (inanimate and animate) have a wide range of capabilities. Message receivers (inanimate and animate) have a wide range of capabilities. Whether these capabilities are considered valuable or not, is a matter of context. It may be very interesting to create a "message system" approach that can be quickly learned by all participants in 30 minutes. This message system should apply to all participants in the exchange; literate, illiterate and semiliterate. The act of exchanging messages changes the context. This type of appraoch may not hold the highest intelectual appeal or be the most intutively pleasing approach. However, a system that gets the vast majority of the message accross in a short period of time appears to have pragmatic value.
