And by the way, note that one of the co-authors is Michael McCord,
whose parser was used to generate the "deep parses" for IBM Watson.    (02)

Michael's chapter in the book describes his method of implementing
slot grammar in Prolog.  During the 1990s, he rewrote the parser in
C while preserving the same (or at least similar) English grammar.    (03)
